Membership in F3CNY is about honing your work, and getting it ready for publication. In order to do that, we provide a workshop-style environment where work is submitted for critique by other members. We help you make your work better, and in turn you provide critiques for others to help them improve their work. As they say, “A rising tide lifts all boats.”
The focus of the Fantastic Fiction Forum is, uh. . . fantastic fiction. By that, I mean fiction that explores the speculative genres. Fantasy, horror, science fiction, dystopian, and so forth. We have nothing against romance, or mysteries, or anything else. SpecFic is what our founders write, those are the markets we know, and those are the authors for whom we can provide the most help.
The first step is to submit a short work to our directors – around 500 words. It doesn’t need to be a complete work, just something that will help them get a feel for your progress and your style.
If the directors decide that having you join would be mutually beneficial, we’ll send you a registration link.
There is no financial cost to being a member of F3. We do not charge dues, or sell any products or services.
